I am Don Tucker also known as (Don 1A, Offroad, Donaustinphotography, Daddy, Husband, and Son). My new titles are MS Survivor and now Multiple Myeloma Patient (bone cancer). I don't even know what to say about the additional tumor found on my kidney.
There is no time to plan how to move in order to downsize this new life with a family of five, including a Senior in H.S. There is no time to figure out how my wife will manage kids, work and my hospital stay of about 30 days without paid leave from her job. There was no time to plan when this struck in February.... nothing about Cancer is free, financially, physically, mentally, or emotionally, it is a very very expensive disease. The only plan, is for me to stay alive and for my family to survive this ride with me.
I am here after a 26 year career at Amtrak, I am now in the ride of my life, with no roadmap, no resources, and no cure. To date I still have all of you. I have swallowed my pride in order to take care myself and my family by any means necessary and I need a little help from my friends. So no matter how much or how many times you can, I only ask...
