Sharon’s kidney transplant

A kidney transplant for Sharon- My sister is in need of a kidney transplant. She has been doing dialysis everyday for about a year and a half. A kidney transplant is her only chance to live a normal life.

Her good friend, Holli, has offered to donate her kidney. She has undergone numerous tests to determine if she compatible. Holli lost her sister to kidney failure and doesn't want to see anyone suffer the way her sister did. She is not only giving the gift of life to my sister, but she gets to honor her sister as well.

Sharon just received great news that Holli is a match. She has blessed our family with this courageous act and will forever be part of our family. The surgery is scheduled for December 4th in Gaineville, Florida. Sharon will have to stay in Gainesville for a month until the doctors release her to come back home. She is hoping to make it home by Christmas to spend it with her precious daughter and husband.

My family and I are asking for your help in raising money for this costly process, including out of pocket medical expenditures, travel and living expenses during this period, as well as for the recovery time post-surgery.
