Hello, my name is Laurie Ware. I am a teacher in New Mexico. I am posting this story because two of my adult children need donor support to help them meet their current needs for college.
Eli is our oldest child. She is 23 years old. When she was in high school, she ran cross country. All throughout her elementary and secondary education she was part of the Gifted program at school - as well as Caleb. When she left for college in 2014, she attended Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO. She later transferred to Western New Mexico University. Eli is studying psychology and law.
Caleb is our oldest son. He attends CNM. Caleb is completing his undergraduate courses and will transfer to UNM when he begins his upper course work. He plans to attend law school.
Both Caleb and Eli, were in National Honor Society in high school; tutored students; mentored; were active in sports; and, both want to continue to pursue their college ambitions but need your support to do so.
Eli is a junior waiting to get back into a university. Caleb needs help funding his tuition and rent for the 2019 summer and fall semester; Eli has a year and half left of college until she graduates. Last year, she started making payments toward her outstanding balance; she works two jobs and owes $6,000.00.
