I care about helping others become the best version of the self they wish to be. I care about my children and FAMILY, blood or otherwise.

Hi everyone, My name is Jeremiah, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. It’s taken me a lot of courage and humility to reach out and ask for help like this — but right now, I’m in a place where I need to. I’ve recently entered treatment for my mental health and PTSD, something I’ve needed to do for a long time but never had the chance or strength to fully face until now. I’ll be away for about two months, focusing on healing, rebuilding, and learning how to move forward in a healthier way after several years of loss, trauma, and hardship. While I’m away, the financial responsibility still exists and is only worsening with my absence and inability to work while inpatient treatment and therapy continues. I also continue to carry child support obligations for my four children, and despite my efforts, only a small portion has been temporarily adjusted during this time. Between the house, car, insurance, groceries, and basic living expenses, I am continuing to fall behind. Along with a garage door that needs to be fixed and some car troubles getting worse... though I feel deep shame and guilt for not being there to help shoulder the burden, I know that taking this step toward recovery is something I need to do — for myself, for my family, and future. I’m not asking anyone to give more than they can. Truly — if helping would put you in a difficult spot, please don’t. Your encouragement and kind words mean just as much to me right now. But if you are able and willing to help financially, even in a small way, it would go directly toward keeping things stable at home while I focus on getting well. My long-term goal is to take what I learn through this experience and create a bit of a slush fund to support other veterans facing similar battles and hardships. But for now, I’m simply taking one step at a time — and this step is about asking for help when I truly need it. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for reading this, for your compassion, and for believing in me as I work to rebuild. I’ll be sharing updates along the way and look forward to including you all in this comeback story. With love and gratitude, Jeremiah --- How You Can Help Any amount, no matter how small, makes a difference! Sharing this page helps more than you know! Words of encouragement are always welcome!
