The Film Thing Crowd Funding

Hey, I'm MJ and I am doing an MA in Arts Practices. I am the writer, director and producer of You Will Find Me On The Beach - a short film about the consequences that far right extremism and modern day fascism have on women and girls. This social realist tragedy follows Amy, a secondary school teacher as her life is pulled into disarray when she is blindsided by John, a cannon ball of misguided and ill spirited patriotism. With your donations we will be able to fund crew transportation, make sure everyone is fed, and to fund a festival run to bring awareness to what many women and girls are experiencing in modern England, and beyond.

Hey, we're The Film Thing and Rillachimp Productions and we're funding for our collaboration production of Mimicry - a film about the horrors of generative ai and what it could mean for average people. No generative ai will be used in the production of this film at any stage. We are funding to assist with prosthetic makeup, volunteer travel and catering. We are also aiming to use some money for distribution. This is a MA project and requires all forces working hard together.
