  2. Hello, my name is Danielle and I have been newly diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, stage 2A. In November 2025, I received the diagnosis, and by December, I underwent a lumpectomy and removal of lymph nodes. Thankfully, there was no initial spread to my lymph nodes, but a recent PET scan showed an uptick in cancer in my breast and lymph nodes, which has left me feeling uncertain and worried about the future. During this time, I also faced unexpected challenges with my retirement and health insurance. After working for the government for over 20 years, I applied for retirement and was assured I qualified. However, months later, my application was changed to a resignation, leaving me without annuities or health insurance. There was no way to appeal or get answers, and I was left navigating cancer treatment without coverage. Thankfully, I was able to get temporary help through Kaiser’s MFA program, but that coverage has ended, and my current insurance does not cover as much as before. I am asking for help to cover medical bills, co-payments, MRIs, CAT scans, medications, and comfort supplies to help me manage side effects during treatment. On days when I am too unwell to cook, funds will also help provide food for my family. Anything you donate will go directly to my medical needs and essentials. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing my GoFundMe. I am deeply grateful for any support during these trying times. Every bit helps, and your kindness means the world to me.
