Hey guys,
<br /><br />Unfortunately another one of our cats needs emergency surgery for bilateral slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) which pretty much means both of his hips are fractured. This happens in larger breed cats (he is part Maine Coon) and is atraumatic and evidently random. 
<br /><br /> He is in extreme pain and needs to be taken care of 24/7 currently and will need a double hip replacement with a lengthy recovery. This surgery will likely run around $10,000-$12,000 but we will not accept any other option for our fur baby. <br /><br /> We had taken him to the vet where they did x-rays (after we insisted) and told us he had no broken bones, but after taking him to the emergency vet after he continually worsened he was diagnosed with bilateral SCFE. <br /><br />This isn’t something he can heal on his own, nor can he currently walk on his own so we will be finding him an orthopedic surgeon urgently. <br /><br /> We’ve appreciated all of you who donated to our baby Samson, who fortunately has had a great recovery and is doing amazingly now and just celebrated his first birthday! <br /><br /> Anything will help our sweet Malachi and would be more than appreciated. You all have always been so kind to us to help them. <br /><br />If you’ve had any experience with this or have surgeon recommendations it would be insanely appreciated.

<div>on April 28, my best buddy ROSCO, the pug was hit by a car. He lost the ability to go to the bathroom on His own and could not walk at all at first. After many vet appointments, internal infections, and light physical therapy at home with me has helped him dramatically, and he can now walk, although not well. He still needs an MRI, which can cost up to five grand here in Florida. I will most likely have to make a road trip to another state where they are cheaper. I had to cut back on work a lot then and now just getting back to my regular schedule and catching up on bills.

<div>For now, the professionals have told me that he no longer needs doggy wheelchair and can possibly make more improvements with just intense physical therapy. This includes treatments, such as water treadmill, specialized and personalized physical therapy to his conditions, laser treatment, and other such things that I don’t know about, but that could help him walk better along with managing pain with lifelong medication.

<div>I hate to ask for help, but my little buddy means the world to me, and I simply cannot afford it at this time and I just want to make sure that I cover all options that may help pay for his treatment.

<div>His new physical therapy will cost a little over $200 a week, around $900 a month and will be ongoing. Any money from this fundraiser will now go to his physical therapy treatments, and if there’s extra, hopefully an MRI as well soon! <div>In <strong>October of 2022</strong>, I was diagnosed with not ONE but TWO cancers (bile duct - Cholangiocarcinoma and thyroid - Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, which spread to my lymph nodes). I knew I was special, but not that special :)
</div>
<div>The diagnosis occurred when I came down with jaundice and they found a mass in my liver. Thankfully, I was able to get into the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where they were able to do extensive scanning and come up with a treatment plan.
</div>
<div>In <strong>early</strong> <strong>January 2023</strong>, I had my full thyroid removed, which will require me to be on medications for life.
</div>
<div>By the <strong>end of January 2023,</strong> I went through my first, of many, chemotherapy treatments at the University of Colorado Medical Center.
</div>

Kady Tomlinson's Cancer Fight

<div>The family of Gennady and Masha Marmer, with two young children (ages 3 and 10), were taken from their home in the middle of the night after bombings started in Kyiv, Ukraine. This family had no time to pack or prepare and had to flee in the middle of the night with only one pair of clothes for each of them and little money. They escaped to Poland, made their way to Germany, and safely to the United States. Now they are trying to rebuild their lives in Baltimore, Maryland, with no money, little clothing, and no resources for their children.

A family who lost everything to flee Ukraine

On May 16th little Kenny suffered an accident in which he ended up fracturing his skull which cause bleeding of the brain, and had to have emergency surgery to repair the damage and to stop the bleeding. Kenny was able to go home, and after almost a month he started to get really sick and had to be rushed to the hospital by Diego Montoya and his mother Silvia Browne. Unfortunately he had blood on his brain, which cause swelling and eventually cause for parts of his brain to slowly die and continues to do so. Now the decision to take little Kenny off life support has been made by Diego and Silvia. Unfortunately Diego has, and would  continue to take time away from work to prepare himself and put his little angel to rest. Kenny would be joining his sister Brittnee who passed away 3 years ago, June 25th, 2015. We appreciate all the love and support everyone has given Diego and his family.

On Saturday, November 5, 2016, Travis Welton was flown with Flight-For-Life from Steamboat Springs to Denver Health after going into cardiac arrest. After being successfully revived with CPR, Travis was unable to survive without the aid of life support, or continued ventilation/breathing from a machine, several medications to maintain blood pressure and a heart beat, several blood product transfusions and continuous dialysis. Travis was not expected to make it through the first night but he has overcome the odds against him and is steadily showing improvements in organ health and has even attempted to wake on his own. For safety and health reasons he was placed into a medically-induced coma but has since been taken off those medications due to his improvements and has since attempted to wake again; unfortunately in pain and fear at times.<br /><br />His dad Jeff, brother Christopher, sister Angela, family friends Rod/Vicky, and Dena have been continuously at his side supporting and praying for him through this rough time.<br /><br />We are looking for help with covering Travis' medical bills and well as support for his dad, Jeff, who has been at Travis' bedside from the very beginning; he has missed work and is paying for an expensive hotel within 2-3 blocks of the hotel so he is not far from his son when needing to rest in case of an emergency or change in condition. Please, any and all help is needed and appreciated. Thank you!
