My name is Alyssa, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times in my life. In just a month, I will be losing my housing, and I currently have no job or stable income to help me transition to a new place. My housing was not supposed to end, but my ex has turned nasty and, in my opinion, is being financially abusive. Housing is the main thing I need money for, and finding a safe place to live is my most urgent priority. This sudden change has left me feeling vulnerable and unsure of where to turn next. On top of this, I have been through two endometriosis surgeries. My first excision surgery was on March 30, 2023, but unfortunately, the doctor was not a specialist and botched the procedure, causing me even more pain, additional endometriosis lesions, and damage to my organs. After a long and difficult recovery, I was finally able to have a second surgery with a specialist on December 22, 2025, which was successful and has given me hope for the future. I have no family to support me and am facing this journey on my own. I also do not have a car, which makes daily life and searching for work even more challenging. Recently, I adopted an emotional support cat after losing my beloved cat to throat cancer in October 2025. My new companion has brought me comfort and hope during this difficult time. I am determined to keep moving forward, applying for jobs and working toward going back to school to build a better future for myself. Luckily I signed up for FAFSA (Federal Financial Aid) last month so I will be able to start school summer semester (June 22, 2026)! I am so thankful for the support I have received in the past, and I am truly sorry to have to ask for more help. My goal is to finish my bachelor's degree so I can support myself, and I will be looking for a work-from-home job as soon as possible. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward securing a safe place to live—which is my most urgent need—covering essential expenses like transportation and bills (I do have food benefits), supporting my return to school after surgery, and helping me care for my emotional support cat. If you are able to donate or share my story, it would mean the world to me. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in my life as I work to get back on my feet. Thank you so much for your support. Also as gofundme takes a 2.9% cut, if you’d like 100% of your donation to go to me you can use Zelle or my Venmo is thatssooalyssa. Thank you again! I love you!
