I recently was bitten by a brown recluse spider and, not knowing what it was, left the wound untreated. I thought it was just a scratch or puncture from yard work, so I tried to work through it, keeping it clean and bandaged. But within days, the spot deteriorated rapidly, and I became severely nauseous. After hours of nonstop vomiting, I finally called an ambulance and was admitted to the hospital, where doctors made it clear I would need to stay until the infection was under control and the necrotic skin could be removed. This news devastated me. As a single father of two awesome kids, I also help support my disabled father by providing income to our household. Now, with me laid up in the hospital for an undetermined amount of time, I can't work or provide for my family. I'm overwhelmed by the thought of paying our electric bill, rent, and putting food on the table, let alone covering medical bills without insurance. After I’m released, I won’t be able to return to landscaping or any physical labor until cleared by my doctor, leaving us in a tough spot. I am at a complete loss and need help to pay these ever-growing medical bills and household expenses. If I receive funds, they will go toward household bills and food for my kids first and foremost. Any remaining funds will help cover medical bills and supplies. Any support, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will make a real difference for my family during this difficult time.

Well, I'm a single father of two wonderful kids! I have my 6-year-old daughter, Claudia Moon, and my almost 17-year-old son, Lestat. Recently, I had to take a title loan out on my little truck to pay bills, and because of a missed payment—because other bills and the kids' school clothes come first—my truck was repoed! With the excessive heat here in South Carolina, our power bill has been in the high $600 ranges every month. Additionally, our landlord has raised our rent by $200, making it $1,100 a month. Not to mention phone bills, insurance, medical bills, and everything else; it's just become overwhelming! Trying to get my little truck back, being that my little truck is work for me, so anything would be useful. Any amount would help!
