<p>"I was on the doorstep of my dream... then war opened the door to pain."... 
</p><br />
<p>My name is Tasneem Saeed Al-Yazji, a Palestinian girl from Gaza.I live with my mom(37), my dad(49) and my three sisters. I am 19 years old, my sisters are rahma 18, nasma 16 , and rimas 14. I graduated from high school with a score of 95.6%. I was preparing to travel and study medicine, my dream was clear: to become a doctor, to heal wounds, to give hope where there is none. But the war… shattered everything. 
</p><br />
<p>One morning, the bombs woke us up. Instead of opening my books, I found them buried under the rubble. Our home was completely destroyed. We were displaced and forced to live in a tent — a piece of fabric that doesn’t keep out the cold or the heat. 
</p><br />
<p>In winter, we drowned… literally. Rainwater seeped through the tent, soaking everything: our clothes, our blankets, our tired bodies. There was no heater, no warm place just cold that reached deep into our bones. 
</p><br />
<p>My father, our family’s backbone, was severely injured in the head. He had to undergo surgery to implant a plastic skull. He is now disabled, unable to work or even move easily. His eyes hold the kind of pain words can’t describe. 
</p><br />
<p>And as if that wasn’t enough, the war took more from us my grandfather and my uncle were killed, with no chance to say goodbye, no proper burial. 
</p>
<p>My sister was also injured and couldn't get the proper care, so her leg now has platinum implants, and every step she takes is painful. 
</p><br />
<p>We are a family of six, with no brothers to support us and no extended family to turn to. We survive day by day, living on charity meals and telling ourselves: “We are surviving.” 
</p>
<p>But truthfully, we are breaking in silence. 
</p><br />
<p>I had dreams of continuing my education. Some universities offer online study programs, but they require payments — and I simply can’t afford them. 
</p>
<p>Prices in the market are unbelievably high, and we can barely afford bread. Clean water is a luxury. Every day is a fight for the basics. 
</p><br />
<p>And yet… I still dream. 
</p><br />
<p>I am Tasneem the top student who, despite the destruction and loss, still believes in her dream. 
</p>
<p>Still says: “Maybe someone will hear me. Maybe there’s still light to guide the way.” 
</p>
<p>All I ask for is a chance — a chance to study, to live with dignity, and to become what I was meant to be. 
</p><br />

<p>The bloodshed in Gaza hasn’t stopped.

<p>We are dying slowly . with no food, no medicine, no shelter.

Help Tasneem(19) and her family survive the genocide in Gaza

<div>Hello, my name is Theresa and I'm collecting donations for my friend Lotta who has a really tough story. I know that she has a great chance for a better future if she gets help. That's why I'm asking for your support. Lotta is at an age where life is still full of opportunity and potential.

<div>In 2012 she came down with the normal flu, unaware it would progressively get worse over the next decade. In May of that same year, a virus hit her central nervous system and she was diagnosed with ME/CFS - the Debilitating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - a serious chronic illness. She started to experience systemic pain like never before and an extreme sensitivity to light including the sun. Due to these symptoms, Lotta has lived isolated and bedridden in a dark room.

<div>She was also diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease around the same time. At this point, her life had completely changed. She had to leave her hobbies and her work behind due to the extreme pain and fatigue she was experiencing. She is not getting any financial help from the government, so she is completely relying on donations.

<div>A couple of years later, she got Lyme Disease. All of her symptoms multiplied exponentially. Her skin, joints, muscles, and entire body ache 24/7, leaving her bedridden. The pain has no off switch - it debilitates her throughout the day. This constant lingering pain has become her new normal, and her lack of energy has forced her to surrender, leaving her suffering silently on her own.

<div>Normal daily tasks like putting on clothes are extremely difficult. The way clothing rubs against her skin makes her feel as if she is bleeding everywhere. Even walking to the toilet was not possible for her in the past, which forced her to crawl on the ground to the toilet.

</div>
<div>She is still not able to do her grocery shopping and still barely able to prepare her meals, or cook for herself, leaving her without food until late in the evening or night. She is so light sensitiv, that even when she has her windows covered, all her symptoms get worse during the day. She doesn't have any energy to do daily tasks. Even exerting herself in any physical way gives her debilitating fatigue. It has come to the point where she can't take care of herself. It breaks her mind, heart, and soul daily to suffer this much. The world might be living in 2026 but for Lotta her life stopped 14 years ago.

<div>In 2017, her heart stopped beating but she was brought back to life. In the winter of 2021 she was down to 25 kilos (55 pounds) and close to death again but she discovered a treatment and diet that has freed a lot of people from similar diseases. For the first time in 14 years, her condition has improved a bit.

<div>‏Before October 7, 2023, our life was modest but full of hope. I had just graduated with a degree in Accounting and started my first job. I was proud to support my family—my retired father, my mother, and my three siblings.

<div>‏My brother Mohammed had just graduated high school with excellent grades and wanted to study engineering. My younger brother Kareem was still in school, working hard to build a future. We were hopeful. We had plans.
</div>

<div>‏But on October 7, everything changed. The war started.
</div>
<div>‏And within days, we lost our home, our jobs, our safety, and our dreams.
</div>

</div>
<div>‏We fled on foot from northern Gaza with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. We had no food, no water, no belongings— just fear and survival instincts. We ended up living in a tent, exposed to cold, hunger, and trauma.

<div>‏For months, we lived with nothing.
</div>
<div>‏We lost our savings.
</div>
<div>‏We lost our stability.
</div>
<div>‏We lost time, education, health, and peace of mind.

<div>‏When the first ceasefire came, we returned to see if we could rebuild. But what we found was total destruction. Our home was gone. Streets were unrecognizable. My father, already fragile, suffered a psychological breakdown and had to be hospitalized.

<div>‏Despite everything, he didn’t want to see his children sleep in a tent again. Because when the bombs drop you burn alive. Somehow, he managed to rent a small appartment with no doors or covered window, it is more a ruin with walls. But the cost is crushing us:
