I am a single parent of 3 kids. They are some of the best people I know, and that's not just my biased opinion as their mother. Anyone who has met my kids will tell you the same. October 12 will be three years since I was finally able to leave the father of my 2 youngest children. To keep it "short and sweet," he was very abusive, and after 5 years, I had enough and got out. Once I left him, we still had to live together. Our youngest was still 2 months old, and I didn't have the financial means to leave him. I ran to the women's shelter, and they only let us stay for so long. Then I found a temporary apartment to stay in, and he found us and served papers. In court, I ended up being pro se, and the other person had an attorney. Since he was the plaintiff and had an attorney, and the judge is very well known for being incredibly biased and crooked and other illegal activities in court, I was fully taken advantage of. Every bit of evidence I showed to the judge was immediately dismissed. He was given 50/50 custody despite a mountain of paperwork that the judge didn't even look at. He even claimed that I photoshopped the bruises on my son's leg. He claimed that I photoshopped every picture of a bruise, cut, or mark. The judge refused to listen to any of the videos or voice recordings that I had because the plaintiff claimed that he had no idea he was being recorded, and that was apparently a violation of his rights. My desired outcome would be that I have full custody, and their father has supervised visitation. I don't want one red cent of his money, and I don't want one red cent of his mother's money.
