Help Megan and Alex Reunite

Megan and Alex are two close friends of mine who recently got married. They have been working their way through the legal steps to establish Alex's permanent residency here in Massachusetts. (Megan is an American citizen, but Alex is a British citizen who was here on a visitor's visa.) Due to his visa's requirements, Alex has to periodically leave the US for a certain amount of time. He has been following these requirements very conscientiously. Last week, Alex was denied re-entry into the United States upon returning from a visit with his family there, due to a minor visa violation. Alex's visitor visa to the US has been revoked and he cannot return to his wife for the foreseeable future. They are now separated by an ocean.
Megan is working with an immigration attorney here in the states to sort things out and work on restoration of Alex's visa so he can return. The attorney estimates it will be at least 12-14 months for this process to play out. In the meantime, Megan is looking at a mountain of legal expenses and court costs. She will also need to travel to England to file various things on that end, not to mention the need to travel outside of the US to see her husband.
The purpose of this campaign is to help Megan defray the costs associated with this terrible situation. I am the organizer of this fundraiser, but as the beneficiary, Megan will have direct access to all funds raised. While the primary goal is to help with the most significant expense, the legal costs, I want to emphasize that Megan has total discretion as to how she wishes to use all funds raised in this campaign. She will be traveling frequently to see Alex and take care of whatever immigration related issues which need to be addressed on the British side. She can use these funds for those expenses as well, or for whatever other expenses she needs them for. How the funds are used is totally up to her. I just want to be clear about that for all potential donors.
