I come to you humbly, and with a heavy heart. My cousin Tyler passed away Sunday, February 5th, 2017. He was just weeks away from his 24th birthday. This has been a great tragedy to my family. My dear aunt now has the unimaginable task of burying her first born son. If any of you have children, your first born is pretty much your first true love. Not the love you may have had with the one you made that baby with, but the truly unconditional love you have the first time you hold that little bundle. The love you have when you watch that baby grow into a toddler, walking for the first time. Then into a child full of life and energy. At this point, your child now loves you and tells you all the time because that's the first thing he/she learns from you, is that love. You're there when this child hurts and you wish you could take away the pain, whether it's a fall off a bicycle or the first time they go through a breakup. This child shows you what it feels like to love someone without hesitation. No matter how much that child grows you love them. Even when this child hits those dreaded teen years and hurts you with the ever popular "I hate you, you're ruining my life"...guess what you still love them as though it's that tiny baby you once held so close. Now just briefly, consider the unfathomable. Think of the hurt you would feel if you lost that child. It's not something we want to do or even think capable. Unfortunately, we do not get decide that fate, as most of of want our children to far outlive ourselves. I cannot imagine the pain my sweet, sweet aunt is feeling right now. I am sad that I lost my cousin, but I am more sad that she lost her son. The last thing that should be on her mind is how to pay for the hospital and medical expenses involved with this gut-wrenching feat. That is why I am setting this up for her and her family. I come to anyone with an open ear and ask that you donate. It doesn't matter how much. Every little bit will help. It's ok if you cannot afford to help with a donation. I just ask you to share this with as many people possible to spread the word. And most importantly, I ask that you pray for them, and for us all. Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. It means more than you know. Thank you all, and God bless.
