Jewelry for Women in Shelters

Donation protected
Hello everyone!  Thank you for taking time to read this.  Back in 2006 I lost my younger brother Kenny, who was 29 years old.   Every day that passes I realize how important it is to give whatever you can to help others.  You never know how something, even something so small, can help enrich or even save a life.  I began jewelry making as a hobby a few years ago and as a result people started wanting to purchase pieces I made.  I realized that I could enjoy my hobby while also donating most and at times all, of my profits to various causes that I felt passionate about. Animal rescues and cancer research are just a couple of the causes I donate to all of the time with proceeds from my jewelry sales.

One of my "brilliant" friends Tracy, recently came up with an AMAZING idea!  If I could ask people to donate any amount of money, even $1, then for every $10 raised I could donate a handmade necklace to a Women's Shelter, where support is provided to the women who go on job interviews in order to help start their lives over.  I could not think of a better cause to support then this!

So here is where I ask for your help!  Any amount is appreciated, and my goal is to raise $1000 so that I can donate 100 necklaces to local non profits.  I found a couple of organizations in Phoenix called Eve's Place and Sojourner Center, both which are dedicated to helping women who are victims of domestic violence.  Please help me kicik off this inititative and make a donation, ANY size is appreciated more then you know!!!!
