Send Tustin High to MIT!

Donation protected
Hello, we are the Tustin High School Lemelson MIT InvenTeam. We are a part of the T-Tech Academy at Tustin High School, an award-winning STEM education program. Recently our team was awarded a grant from the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams program to create and develop an invention that solves a real world problem. In June of this year, we will travel to the MIT campus to present our invention.  The Tustin team is one of only 15 schools in the nation to have been selected for this prestigious program!

Our grant covers expenses related to the development of our invention; unfortunately, it does not cover any of the travel costs necessary for our cross-country trip to Massachusetts.

So, we are coming to you for support in our endeavor! OUR GOAL HERE WILL COVER ABOUT 2/3 OF OUR EXPENSES, so it is OK to go over!

Rest assured that we are working hard to cover the rest and that any excess will go towards the continued improvement of our amazing program!

Our project is the development of a machine that will remove unsightly chewing gum litter from concrete sidewalks and walkways on our school campus.  Did you know that chewing gum litter is the #2 litter problem in the world?  That's right, only cigarrette butts are a bigger problem.    We're hard at work on our invention, and we're doing all we can to get to MIT this coming June.  Go Tillers!
