Turcol Family Tragedy
Donation protected
The Turcol family were our friends and neighbour's back in Kentucky. They are the nicest, warmest people who would give you the shirt of their own back.
On Thursday Sept. 12 around 11:15 am Jeff was working on his truck in their side yard. He was under his truck when he realised he forgot to place a brick in front of a tire. As he was getting out from under the truck, the drive shaft popped out and the truck folded him in half and rolled over him.
He was hit in the head by something under the truck and had a head wound and trauma to the head. Coleen was standing at the front door and watched this all happen. She ran out side and barely heard Jeff say call 911. I screamed and ran into the house and called 911. The ambulance came and transported him to Triple Crown Subdivision where he was air lifted to University of Cincinnati Hospital.
He stayed in the hospital until Sept. 18 when he was moved to Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital in Florence, KY.
As of now he is still there recovering and working on walking again. It truly is a miracle he is alive.
With all that being said, Coleen has a genetic disorder in her eyes called Retinitis Pigmentosa, that causes loss of vision which means she can't drive and can't work. They have two boys Jason, a Junior at Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, and Adam a Senior at Holy Cross High School.
With Jeff out of work till after the first of the year I am hoping you can find it in your hearts to donate anything so they can concentrate on Jeff's recovery and not the bills flooding in.
Thank you and God Bless!
