Help Tucker get a new leg

This guy’s name is Tucker. He’s a 5 to 6 month old little lad who hasn’t had the greatest start to life. He came to me in the rain, laying in a cardboard box in the front of a supermarket. I obtained him from someone who apparently found him as a stray, but in fact were his owners who decided they didn’t want to pay to get his broken femur fixed.

Owning a pet should be for life, but apparently for these people that commitment is conditional on the health of their animal. Never the less I took him and had him examined by the vet. Good news, he has a chance of survival. Bad news, it will cost up to 3,000 to fix for him because of the bone and location of the break. I desperately want to help this little guy but as a student it’s nearly impossible for me to evenfront the percentage of the cost to erect a payment plan when it’s an unpredicted expense.

He really, really deserves a chance – he is kind and sweet even though his condition is painful and debilitating. I am currently liasoning with rescues but even they are finding it hard to scramble the money to help this guy before we run out of time.

If you can donate anything, even a couple of dollars, to help me get this guy on the operating table and on the road to recovery so he can find a family to call his own it would be appreciated beyond belief. He didn’t ask for this to happen but if there’s even a chance to make his future brighter, I’d like to give that to him.
