Rebuild Bhimkhori Village Nepal
Donation protected
What: In the photos, you can see the houses are so destroyed that it is unsafe to live and many more are unstable, because of the earthquake. For one house, it costs 1000 USD to get the materials required to fix them, and have the materials transported up to the villages.

Why: You may think a lot of earthquake aid funds are being sent to Nepal, but these are mainly through corrupt government channels. They promote religious festivals involving slaughtering thousands of heads of livestock and never using the meat, while children line up begging for food. A lot of aid has been sent to Nepal, but most of it has gone to the capital city, or just surrounding the capital city, Kathmandu. These small villages may never receive any help at all. Here is a chance to donate directly to someone who will use all the money for the sole purpose of trying to rebuild small villages who would otherwise receive no aid.
Destroyed homesTemporary shelters
Who: Karma (and his village) Karma is a social health worker currently working in a government health centre as the chief of sub health in Lamjung, Nepal. In his spare time, he is a licensed government trekking guide and tour organizer. He uses the money he makes as a guide to help provide funds for the Bhimkhori village development committee.
Where: The village where Karma lives is named kavre Bhimkhori, about 75km East of Kathmandu.
More Information:
I met Karma on the side of a hiking trail, he was a trekking guide for some amazing European people I met. I had a very bad stomach flu and I tried to take antibiotics from Canada, but they didn't help. The group took me with them, since there weren't any busses running to take me back to a city. Karma gave me free medicine for my stomach and refused any kind of payment for them. He is an honest hard working guy who promotes education and community development, often using money he has been able to make as a trekking guide to do so. You can be very sure the money will go directly to these people to help rebuild their villages and provide jobs for people to fix the villages.
To find out more about Karma, you can look at his facebook page and chat with him: [email redacted]
If you are interested in seeing exactly what happens to your money, Karma can put pictures on facebook showing the progress.
My name is Natasha, I offered to help Karma make the website to collect funds for his village after seeing the damage on facebook and doing a little bit of research about where my money would go if i donated anywhere else. Feel free to contact me as well: [email redacted]
Thank you for your support! The people whose homes you are helping rebuild will never forget it!
Merci Beaucoup
