Troy, Mi. Destination Imagination

We are encouraging all STEM fans, and those who are already leveraging these skills in the workforce, to help support this amazing team of elementary students. Team Thunder is made up of students from Michigan public schools. These students have rocked it to 1st place at Regionals, and then placed at State/Affiliate to get accepted to the Global Finals, where students around the world will compete!!!!!

Global Finals are held in Knoxville, TN. at University Of Tennessee. Team registration and meals are $4,750. We are estimating Hotels and transportation will cost $3,000. - $4,000.  Any and all donations will help these ambitious students reach their full potential!

The Destination Imagination program is a fun, hands-on system of learning that fosters students’ creativity, courage and curiosity through open-ended academic Challenges in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), fine arts and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process.
