Trotting for Tuesday's Friends

When my pup Tuesday went blind, I signed up to run with the dogs at the shelter who needed a little extra help. Running helps high energy pups like Tuesday get adopted by being more calm with potential adopters. Tuesday was a high energy pup and would have loved to be friends with all the dog trotter dogs. I fell and broke both wrists in between the dog handling training sessions. By the time I could handle a leash and run more than a mile, Tuesday had passed from complications from diabetes. I restarted the training and now love running with the dogs at the shelter: they bring me joy each time! Tuesday would have loved to see more and more of her friends get the option to run and find their forever homes.  I'm running with the ACCT team in the Philadelphia Half Marathon in November of 2018.
