TROPICAL DELIGHTS HURRICANE FUND

Donation protected
You are what you eat. Support your local Food Source by participating in rebuilding our family owned, certified organic farm that for over 20 years has been our sole income and jobs for local labor.

Irma’s destruction is more than we can handle on our own. We have reached out to all available resources and reached a “dead end”. We’re facing over 80 tropical fruit trees down, at a cost of $1000 each.  The majority of the tree loss is with our Lychees, Avocados, Mangos and Carambolas

Our 12 shade houses where our Micro Greens are grown, were damaged (frames, and irrigation) by falling trees. To rebuild would cost about $1500 each. In addition 6 other work area frames were also destroyed and will cost approximately $500 each to rebuild.

In addition, our raised beds that have our edible flowers, herbs and vegetables need to be cleared of broken limbs and debris. Irrigation has been destroyed in most of the beds and needs replacing. This would allow us to bring our production up to pre-Irma amounts, at least an increase of 50 percent.

         Thank you for your support.
