This is a message from Gary Jones: I have had the honor to work with boys in Northeast Oklahoma City for the past 6 years through Boy Scouts of America. Over that time, they have worked hard to raise money for equipment, uniforms and the cost for camping trips. What we have not been able to do is earn enough money for a trailer to haul our camping equipment. On this "Giving Tuesday," I am asking for any contribution you can make to help reach our goal of $4,000 for a trailer for the Boy Scout in Troop 1101 based out of KIPP in Northeast Okla. City.
These boys are a great! They are good students and give several hours each year through our fundraising program to raise money for our troop. Unfortunately, the amount of money necessary to keep the troop functioning eats up what we are able to raise.
My hope is that this Tuesday we can raise most of it and the troop will raise the remainder to purchase the trailer.
