Troop 100 Bus

Boy Scout Troop 100 needs a new bus. We use the bus to pick up some of our 75 Scouts for our weekly meetings, and for our monthly weekend outings to places like Minnesota’s North Shore. We also use it at Camp Ajawah in the summer for both boys’ and girls’ sessions—for field trips, overnight outings, and transporting kids to and from camp.
This past week, we experienced a sudden inconvenient breakdown on our way to Camp Decorah, forcing us to abandon the bus in the middle of the night, shuttle boys on to the camp using a van that luckily was with us, and to work out a rescue with parents’ help. For the boys, it was a fun weekend and the bus adventure only added to the experience. But now we need a bus. Used buses are not overly expensive. We should be able to find a good one. But we will need to pay for it.
