Trimming Tere for Jowonio

One of the greatest gifts for a parent, is knowing that your child is respected, cherished and treated with equanimity. Jowonio is a school where children of all abilities, cultures and backgrounds are given all of this, and more. In a typical early education model, many of these children might not otherwise experience  the opportunity, dignity and respect that they are freely given at Jowonio. The mission of this school is centered in an inclusive model, where diversity is celebrated, and all are free to learn and grow. When I learned I would be the parent of a neurodiverse and differently abled child, I felt lost. Parenting is a challenging task as is, but parenting a child who does not fit into the typical model of development is absolutely daunting.  At Jowonio, those fears quickly melt into acceptance, and normalcy, as it is a place that mentors not only children, but the family holistically. Teachers and therapists work with parents and families to provide support that extends beyond the classroom, and benefits the child's development for years to come. The inclusive model they work within promotes integration for a wide diversity of students from all levels of ability, where all are loved, and encouraged to success as individuals. 
The first time I saw my son's teacher, hug him, and tell him that she loved him, I knew this school was unlike any other. Where else do teachers tell your child that they are loved, but Jowonio?! These teachers are absolutely selflessly dedicated to the work that they do. Because I believe in, and love this school so much, I am willing to wager my locks to prove it to you...15 plus years worth of growth, and 41 inches of locks in exchange for your generous donation!
