Tribute to Tom Posey

Thomas "Tom" Posey died unexpectedly of a heart attack on June 6, 2019. He was a kind man who tried to find the positive in every person and situation. To him, nobody was a stranger. He had a wonderful, quirky sense of humor and was quite the jester. He worked as a custodian in the Elementary Schools around Portland, OR for many years and would share stories of playing jokes on the kids. Each year "Mr. Tom" brought home cards and gifts from beloved teachers and students. Tom was a hard worker. He loved the history of his home town Knappa and Astoria. He loved and cared for his family and in recent years had connected with many dear friends and classmates from the past. His family also loves him very much.  Tom is survived by his wife, Anona, son, Tylar, and daughters, Erin and Alia, 

This is Erin, writing about my beloved dad. I am setting up this account because I have heard that many people would like to assist in this difficult time but are not sure how. We have wonderful moral support, but hugs (and a tissue) are always welcome when you see us. My mom will be in charge of final expenses with family helping out as we can. She will have the additional burden of paying for everyday expenses on her own. She will likely need to find a more affordable living situation but could benefit from funds for additional months rent to buy her some time. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
