Memoriam for Bro. Alfred Motlow III

On Friday evening, January 5, 2018, Bro. Alfred L. Motlow, III (Tre) was tragically killed along with two other passengers, one being his girlfriend, Aniya Brown, as a result of a head-on collision with another car. This tragedy happens less than a mile from his home in Memphis. Tre was a sophomore at Florida A&M University majoring in civil engineering and was just initiated into the fold of Omega on November 20, 2017, through Upsilon Psi Chapter. He was just 19 years old.
Tre is family to Alpha Chapter. His father is Bro. Alfred L. Motlow, Jr. (7-80-A) and uncle, Bro. Vernon A. Motlow, Sr. (9-84-A). He recently attended Alpha Chapter’s Charter Day Celebration on December 9, 2017, to see his Uncle Vernon receive an alumni award for service and friendship. Many of the Bros who attended met Tre, celebrated his initiation into the fold of Omega and told stories about Al to him. Others of us may not have met Tre, but we knew him through the friendship and love we have for Al and Vernon. Tre joins his father, Al, in Omega Chapter, who went from labor to reward in 2005.
We send our prayers, condolences, love, and thoughts to Jean, Tre’s Mom, Brittany, Tre’s sister, Vernon, and other family members during this difficult time. Let us show our support and uplift by providing a love gift in honor and memory of Tre to his family to help alleviate the burden of expenses they may have.
