SE TRANSPARENTE 2016
Our 4th missions trip called BE TRANSPARENT 2016 will be done in Barahona Dominican Republic. Barahora is a very poor community in the south of the Dominican Republic. The population is about 30,000. There is a lot of alcohol and drug abuse, even in children. In poor areas of Barahona many parents can barely provide meals for their children, much less are they able to provide school supplies.
EvangeMusic will be supporting these communities right before the beginning of the following school year by providing backpacks, school supplies. Additionally, the gospel will be presented in a practical and artistic way. There will be music, skits, dances, clowns, puppets, etc… A $15 dollar donation represents one backpack full of school supplies, a meal for the day, training for the leaders and pastors and a free concert. Our goal is to bring 2,000 backpacks or more. This is why your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
A conference for local pastors and church leaders will be held in order to provide evangelism and disciple training. The following day, a big evangelistic concert will take place in at a local park. The gospel will be presented and all new believers will be referred to a local church.
