My Trans-Bottom Surgery

Hello! I am a trans-woman with a scheduled bottom surgery in late June. I am very fortunate that I finally have this scheduled as it has been such a waiting game for the past couple years. However, the finances that come from it (not only from the surgery itself, but the "fallout" of two months for recovery time, among other medical bills leading up to the surgery) has made this prospect seem aggravatingly difficult to deal with.

For lead up with the surgery, I am currently facing a $2,000 bill because my insurance denied coverage on an important aspect pre-surgery. Not only that, but currently my insurance company is on record to giving me no coverage at all for my surgery. I'm fighting them on all these accounts, but I know even if I get some leeway with the insurance company it will very likely not go all my way. That's why I'm turning to this, because as much as it's embarrassing for me to do this, I really have no other choice.
