The Philadelphia area Salesforce community, in partnership with Philadelphia Spark, will be hosting a Trailhead4All event in October of 2017. Trailhead , the base of this initiative is an online platform to learn basic Salesforce skills. With Trailhead4All, the goal is to teach in-demand Salesforce skills to diverse populations in our communities, and expose them to careers in technology.
We are raising money to host this event for Philadelphia area 7th graders which will cover transportation, other educational and logistical costs, as well as a thank you for volunteers. Any and all donations for this event are used strictly for the event, and any contributions above our goal are donated directly to Philadelphia Spark.
Company donations equal or greater to $500 will land their logo on the pamphlet that will be going out to the kids and volunteers. The pamphlet will include instructions on how to login to/use Trailhead after they get home, about Salesforce and careers in the ecosystem, and a page about our donors. Additionally, if your company has swag you would like to donate, we will give that out for you as well to further promote your brand.

Seventh graders participate in Spark Labs or on-site workshops hosted by local companies and organizations.
Students develop a broader understanding of industries and careers of all shapes and sizes by visiting different offices and working with new people throughout the fall semester.
Employee volunteers guide students through structured, group activities that build skills and help students understand how their interests, abilities and skills relate to workplaces and positions.
