Tragedy at Borderline Bar

Tax deductible
Tonight America has endured another tragedy. A masked gunman entered the Borderline Bar in Thousand Oaks, CA around 11:20 p.m. opening fire on people inside the bar enjoying the night out with friends and family. Among the victims of tonight's shooting was a long time Veteran of the Ventura County Sheriff's office, Sgt. Ron Helus. Sgt. Helus gave a vow to protect and serve and tonight he gave the ultimate sacrifice living up to his promise. At least 11 other lives were also taken tonight in this attack. When these senseless attacks used to be unheard of but are becoming more frequent, as a nation we have to love harder and stronger. During this time of sorrow and despair as a Country we cannot imagine the pain and emptiness you feel and have but we want each family to know that you are not alone and we send our Love, Prayers and Condolences and we are here to help any way we can. This Charity is being set up to help the surviors and families of this unfortunate event with medical bills, funeral arrangements, time from work, Borderline Bar and Grill and other expenses. This is a GoFundMe Certified Charity campaign. This means that money is processed by GoFundMe's nonprofit partner PayPal Giving Fund, and funds are sent directly to the Christian Church - Thousand Oaks. As the campaign organizer, I cannot access or manage any of the donations or disbursements.
