Many of you know my story and have asked how you can help. Since I don't generally ask for help this is not easy for me.
Last year about this time I was suffering with continuous hip dislocations after I had my second hip replacement surgery in April 2018. In October 2018, things got scary quick. I was diagnosed with sepsis and spent the next two months in three different UNC hospitals. My family was not sure I would make it. The infection was attacking the prosthetic. Finally, after having the infected replacement removed I had a concrete placer inserted to help the healing process until I could get my hip re-done. Little did I know it would take nine months before I could get that surgery. I have been unable to work or have a productive life during this time. My family suffers with me every day. My wife does her best to hold things together but things are very hard for her at the moment.
I got my new hip on August 20; I am doing very well and remain hopeful this surgery will be a complete success. I have another three months of healing before my doctor will even consider releasing me to work. I am so ready to get back to work and life.
If you would like to help my family, I would be forever grateful. God Bless You.
