Lacie Christabelle LaRose was murdered May 3, 2015 in a senseless random act of violence. Her life was tragically taken, but we want to make sure her dream of saving animals lives on forever. A non-profit foundation is being set up in her name and all funds raised will be transferred as soon as paperwork can be finalized. Thank you for helping Lacie and her dream to live on.

This is Sunny going to meet Stormy at Pippin's Place Fundraiser at Tio Carlos in Irving tonight. When they saw one another I saw the bond of, "Hey, I know you!" Thanks to everyone who came out!

Baby Stormy is now Sunny. After it's done being Stormy, it's always Sunny in Irving, Texas! *This is the dog Love 'em Like Lacie rescued that is the image of Stormy, but half the size. She is young, and we just got her spayed and all her shots. She has a serious separation anxiety issue and eaten through a huge crate. She is currently my foster, and the possible future reason I become a foster failure. Lots of work with this one yet, but very well worth it. Thanks to everyone who can pitch in for the cause.

One fine little horse, Lacie's Rebel is becoming! We all think this guy with be a feisty runner and winning racehorse when he gets a bit older. Can't wait to yell, "Go Lacie's Rebel!"

We received our first private donation to Lacie's Rebel today! Lacie's Rebel has two years before he is trained to race and I for one want us all at that track cheering on Lacie's dream horse! If this horse is anything like Lacie, he will be a winner! He has a great pedigree both in body and spirit :) Thanks and please consider donating to Lacie's Rebel. We are trying to build a safety pen for him and his momma at Pippen's Place. Right now he is safe at a different horse farm but it is expensive to board him. Thanks! ~robin

All of us at Pippen's Place are very saddened by Lacie's death. We are building several air conditioned small houses for the dogs at Pippen's Place. One such house is being ordered in memory of Lacie and will house special needs dogs. The house will be named after Lacie and will be painted according to her family's wishes. It will take a couple weeks for the house to come in but the first special needs dog will be arriving from Calif. Saturday evening via air.

I didn't know Lacie, but I went to school with her mother. We hear these stories all too often, but it hits home when it's someone you have a connection with. From everything I've seen, Lacie was special.

I didn't know Lacie personally, but it hurts to hear about all of these young kids dying from my hometown. Rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. I'm an OU grad, but taught for years in the DFW area and have had many former students attend Blinn as well as A&M. Honored to help in a small way to carry forward Lacie's wonderful heart for critters and keep her name and memory alive. :-)
