Toss Tyler out of an airplane for a good cause!

Even before my injury, one of the things I enjoyed was pushing my limits and I am hoping to do so again! The goal is to raise $10,000 through this fundraiser to enable a non-profit to empower others.

If I reach this goal I will go skydiving on July 25!

Up until now pushing my limits was based around using technology to be independent and achieving goals like figuring out how to  get in and out of my house independently by using a voice-controlled door opener or finding a way to operate my cell phone so I could stay connected with friends. I've done that. Now I'm ready to take things to the next level!

I'm going to show the world that being disabled doesn't stop you from achieving your goals and dreams. I've always wanted to go skydiving, but until recently, I considered this to be impossible. -- It's not!

With $10,000, The TSF  will provide at least four individuals with the equipment, installation, and education to empower and greatly enhance their independence through the use of technology provided to them at no charge from the TSF.

Examples of what your donation will help make possible:
Ray's Story
Holland's Story
Helping Dr. Zimmerman discover solutions to empower his patients
Helping Daniel Watch TV without assistance

The TSF does everything from assisting someone unable able to use a cell phone and totally reliant on a family member or caretaker to communicate (imagine if your mom or dad was typing and reading text messages for you!) to providing a door opener activated by voice or switch control, allowing an individual to independently enter and exit their home. In addition to providing independence, it also has the potential save a life in the event of an emergency!

The TSF was created with the mission and focus on offering a wider variety of assistive technologies, not only reaching out to those local to Washington but also around the world! As the only nonprofit foundation in the greater Seattle area offering these services, they are committed to continuing improving lives of those who are mobility impaired.

I'm ready to do this, but I need your help. Together we can make this happen.

Video footage of my jump will be posted here afterwards, so you everyone can see the event!
