Firstly, thank you for taking the time to look us up! It means the world to us that you would even consider contributing to our special day!
Our story hasn’t been plain sailing. We have had to fight to be together every step of the way.
During our relationship we have had ups and downs and have been to hell and back several times, each time we have survived.
A bit of background about us:
Trish and i met on a night out in July 2006. She was out with some people i knew from college, and i was out with my friends. We were introduced to each other, and then went off with our respective groups. Later on in the evening we kissed (it was quite funny as to why we ended up kissing but thats not safe for the internet).
I didn’t even get her name, so i used the power of the internet to track her down! We started talking and agreed to meet up. After the first date we were inseparable!
So 8 years and 2 babies later, here we are.
We had agreed that we would wait for marriage equality, after all, we are going to be together for the rest of a lives, a couple of years waiting for archaic laws to change would not hurt.
So that brings us to now.
We had budgeted for the wedding down to the last penny when we booked it at the start of this year (2014).
Unfortunately our car went bang and our landlady has pulled our house out from under us. We cannot afford to pay for the wedding. Family have booked their plane tickets to come from Australia and we really don’t want to have them cancel.
So in order to pull this off we need you.
We have everything we need as a family, and as much as we would appreciate physical gifts, it would make more of a difference to us if you could contribute to the cost of our wedding.
