|TOO MANY|
Donation protected
|TOO MANY| was created by Paris M. Somerville after a young African American teen was gunned down in Richmond, VA in 2013. The idea of a nonprofit geared towards taking responsibly for our African American youth came to mind in order to slow down and potentially stop this beast that's ripping apart our neighborhoods and the future of our children. We as parents, mentors, siblings, teachers, aunts/uncles, and community leaders ask so much of these kids. The responsibility of "doing what's right" has shifted totally on the youth and somewhere along the lines the "adults" stop doing their part. Well, that's what this organization is attempting to bring back. We want people to take the |TOO MANY| pledge, dedicating themselves to these children in order to ensure they have a bright future. We are looking to raise $2500 so that we can legally become a non profit organization. Along with funding the cost of the 501 (c)(3), this money will help us fund community events and school programs we plan on creating for the youth. We're all buckled in and ready for lift off. Help up reach altitudes unimaginable in our community. Everyone donating $25 or more will recieve a full length version of the documentary once all of the money is raised. There's so much more footage to see. Thank you for your support.
