Tony James Memorial Fund
Tony’s passing was sudden and unexpected. He went to the hospital experiencing breathing troubles and died due to complications. The exact cause of Tony’s passing is still under review. We are requesting space while we mourn our collective loss.
Tony devoted himself to the art of dance and cheer. He achieved greatness. He graced the stages of Broadway, toured with the biggest recording artists in the world, appeared in television and movies, and more. Blending his unique fusion of dance and cheerleading, Tony took his vision and founded Cheer Up World-- the premier dance and cheer festival in Europe. Tony was irrepressible in his passion for bringing joy through dance to others. His love for his art was paralleled only by his love for his friends and his family.
Not only did we lose our son and baby brother, the world lost a great talent and visionary.
Finally, our family is in the initial stages of setting up a Fund and Memorial Service in memory of Tony's life work. This Fund would alleviate unanticipated costs due to his passing AND to build a future legacy for aspiring young people, like Tony, who have a sincere love and passion for cheer and dance. The Memorial Service would give all those who loved Tony the opportunity to say good-bye. Our initial plans are to have the service in NYC probably sometime in October. However, we envision this memorial service to be less about mourning and more about celebrating Tony's life and passion for cheer, dance and the performing arts through videos, performances, and speakers. We believe this is something Tony would have wanted. More to come on the details of this event.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that donations be sent to the Tony James Memorial Fund.

Thank you to all that were kind to Tony. Who supported him. Who loved him.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Tony is survived by his mother Yvonne James, sisters Billie James-Vogel and Bonnie Willis.
We were babies when we met and fell in love. Your last message to me was, and I quote, "When I think of you, I think of what could have been." Those words bring me great comfort during this time. Every day that passes is a day closer to seeing you again. I love you, Tony-bear.
the world lost a bright light, his smile will be remembered forever .....love and peace to you Tony....
Will never forget Tony's kindness nor his million-watt smile. Prayers and love to his survivors. May he rest in peace.
