Tony Alpy Memorial Fund

On Feburary 28th, 2017, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. Little did we know it had already began to spread through his body. After weighing the options of treatment he decided he would not go through with any chemo or radiation. The staff at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming, GA took amazing care of him. Once he was stable the hospital released him to go home on hospice. After some trial and error we found an amazing hospice company who would take great care of him. Nina, his hospice nurse, kept in close contact with Camille and I and really cared for him like he was her father. (Side note, her fathers name is tony, I believe she was assigned to him for a reason, she was his angel) At 12:05 am on May 15th, my father passed peacefully in his sleep, ending his two and a half month fight with stage 4 stomach cancer. Although his illness progressed very quickly he was himself throughout. These past couple months have not been easy for him or our family but his strong faith and upbeat outlook made everything just a little bit easier.
