Tomo's journey back to healthy

Hello All! I am putting together this gofundme for my dear friend, Tomo. Her and her husband, Dusty, have been good friends with Paul and I for quite a long time. They have 2 beautiful girls and are some of the most wonderful people in the world. Recently, they have had some very rough times. Tomo has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease, an often missed and mis-diagnosed disease that she has likely had since teenage years. She has been, for most of her life, dealing with this and her body was coping well enough that the symptoms were mild and manageable. In April of this year, she took antibiotics for an infection which tipped the balance in favor of the Lyme Disease. Since then she has been on a downward-slope, going through doctors and diagnoses, tests, medicines, diet changes, etc for 7 months. The Tillery's finally found the right doctor who listened to ALL of her symptoms, asked the right questions, and found this hidden beast! Now the road to recovery, however long or short, bumpy or smooth, is being taken. Dusty, a US Navy contractor as well as a veteran, is having to take a sabbatical from work to help Tomo on the road to recovery. They are in the process of selling their house in California so they can move to Texas to be closer to family. My dear friends are now trying to make sure Tomo gets the right support and treatment. Tomo is still very sick and not stabilized with this disease yet and needs a lot of medical treatment which is very expensive. Some treatment that she has to receive is $5000 a month and she will have to undergo this treatment for at least a year. Insurance will not cover her treatments. Since Dusty will be taking a leave of absence from his job there is a chance that he will not be able to get the job that he once had if Tomo gets worse or the treatments are not as fast and efficient as hoped. Until he finds a new place of employment in Texas, any help would be a help to them. Please help in anyway you can. Tomo is an amazing woman that I am so lucky to have met. She is an amazing mother that would like to be able to play with her kids again and not have to worry about being sick. Please help these these wonderful people get on the road to recovery and back on their feet.
