Tommi Rose Health Fund

As many of you are aware, this has not been a good health year for Tommi.  He has been hospitalized twice with serious, life-threatening pneumonia and recently went into full kidney failure and must now undergo dialysis treatment  3 times a week for the rest of his life or until a suitable kidney donor is found which could take up to a decade or more on the public kidney wait list.  His best hope is to find someone who is willing to donate one of their kidneys

Needless to say, this has taken a financial toll on Tommi and will continue to do so as he can’t perform or work the way he used to.  You may see him at some limited performances but he now has turned down most gigs due to his health issues. 

I asked Tommi if we could start a GoFundMe page for him so that his friends and fans could help out during this difficult period.  At first, he said he didn’t think so.  But then, after talking to other friends he is allowing me to help by getting this page up for him. 

I am the Co-Executive Producer of “A Very Sordid Wedding’ and we were all so proud to have Tommi in the movie.  Palm Springs has always been so special to our Sordid family and we wanted Tommi to be a part of that as he epitomizes the GLBT community in Palm Springs!  Tommi has some wonderful “scene stealing” moments in the film.

As a performer, Tommi has made audiences happy for 4 decades!  As an activist Tommi has fought for the rights of the GLBT community tirelessly.  He has raised so much money for our community and never turns down an opportunity to help further our cause.

For these reasons and so many more, I hope that you’ll consider giving whatever you can to this fund which will go directly to Tommi to use for his health care and living expenses.  We all pray that Tommi has a 100% recovery!
