Tomás is Going To Worlds Again!

$5,070 of $7,000 goal

Raised by 68 people in 13 months

Dear friends, family and gymnastics enthusiasts,

Thanks to your generosity last year, Tomás was able to achieve his dream of representing Team USA at the 2017 with Age Group Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was a life-changing experience, and he was proud of his accomplishments. Tomás was one of the youngest athletes to compete for Double Mini Trampoline in the 13-14 year old age group, which was even more impressive!

This year, due to his dedication, passion, and perseverance, we are proud to announce that Tomás has been selected to represent Team USA at the 2018 World Age Group Competition for Double Mini, Individual Trampoline and Synchronized Trampoline , and also to be part of the USA Jr National Team. This selection is quite an honor, as they only chose 5 Youth Elite Athletes to be part of the Jr National Team (two boys and three girls, him being the youngest boy on the team)

We are incredibly proud that Tomás earned the opportunity to represent Team USA again on the international stage, competing against the best  athletes from around the world in not one but three different events. For Tomás, whose enthusiasm for the trampoline has guided him through hundreds of hours of training, practice sessions, and competitions, this is the ultimate reward for his hard work and the opportunity for an unforgettable athletic experience.

To prove himself on the world stage, Tomás needs your help.  The competition is being held in St. Petersburg, Russia on November 15th to 18th, 2018. All expenses are expected to be entirely self-funded, including his United States National Team uniform, travel, extra-training and coaching fees. We ask for your assistance in raising the funds needed for his trip. Without the help of his family and friends, Tomás simply can’t attend the competition.

Tomás is very excited to have the opportunity to represent the USA! We promise to share video updates of his experience from now through the competition. You can follow him on Instagram @tomasminc.  We would appreciate if you could help support Tomás by sharing his “GoFundMe” on your social media page and spreading the word.

Please send your well wishes our way as we embark on this journey to Russia. We, and Tomás, want to thank everyone for all their support and encouragement

Thank you all for the support and help for Tomás!

Hi all,
We came back from Russia yesterday and couldn't be more happy of how things went...
Tomás and his synchro partner Ryan are the 13-14 males 2018 Synchronized Trampoline World Age Group Champions!!! They are gold medalists!!!!
On Double-Mini Trampoline, Tomás got the 1st place on the prelims and ended up finishing in 4th place but really tying for the 3rd place. Because of the tie breaker he was left out of the podium and did not get the bronze medal.
On Individual Trampoline, he eded on 35th place (out of 65 athletes).
We can say that, overall, it has been a wonderful experience and cannot be more proud of how Tomas performed!
And, once again, we couldn't have done it without all your help! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The World Age Group Competition in Russia is almost 2 weeks away! Tomás has been training hard and his excitement and anticipation is growing ...

This is it! Next Saturday would be the last chance to see and meet USA Gymnastics team members Tomas and Alex before they leave to compete in the World Age Group Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Please join us for the final "Open Gym" fundraiser to support our athletes on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 5:00PM – 6:30PM (Family Open Gym) & 6:00PM – 8:00PM (10 and up), at the Dynamite Gymnastic Center in North Bethesda (4956 Boiling Brook Parkway). Bring your kids to flip, jump and tumble around and have a little fun. Tomas and Alex will be there to answer any questions you might have about their experience in the USA Gymnastics program and hopefully motivate or inspire your kids to be future gymnasts.
