Support for Tomara Hellinger

Tomara gave birth to a beautiful baby boy June 5.  Jensen was taken immediately to Cook's Children's Hospital for surgery due to a hernia. Jensen came through the surgery with flying colors but needed his momma.  After being reunited with her son for two weeks, Tomara fell ill,  was careflighted to Sherman TX in critical condition and placed in ICU.  Her organs are failing, among them her kidneys which are on 24/7 dialysis and her heart which is enlarged and operating at only 10% capacity.  She has suffered from a stroke and blood clots in her legs and lungs.  She was airlifted once again June 25 to Medical City Dallas where she is currently fighting for her life.  She has since been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy.  There is current discussion of a heart transplant.

In addition to Baby Jensen, Tomara and her husband, Mark, have two boys - Brenden, 11 and Austin, 7 - as well as a beautiful daughter Cheyenne, 13.  They have very strong ties to the Gainesville community via Tomara's employment at the local Wal*Mart and within the school district where Mark is a teacher at Edison Elementary.  All of the children attend Gainesville schools where Cheyenne has found sisterhood in her cheerleading colleagues.  The family worships faithfully at Commerce St Church of Christ with Mark serving as Youth Minister.
