Tom Thorpe's Liver Transplant

Tom Thorpe is a Bay County School Teacher and tutor, who is loved by his students; having been nominated for "Teacher of the Year." What makes this such an accomplishment is that Tom can communicate so well with his students, while often being extremely shy with adults and strangers.
In October 2016, he came down with pneumonia. Tom's heart, kidneys and liver were badly damaged. On 10/05/16, He flat lined and was put in ICU at Gulf Coast Medical, Panama City, FL. Doctors did not give Tom much hope and advised his family to prepare for his death.
Tom proved them wrong! Being a strong believer in God's word, he has fought hard and held on.
III John 2: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosperous."
Tom has been transferred to the Jacksonville, FL Mayo Clinic to await a liver transplant. The expense for the transplant is extensive. He will require 2 weeks at the clinic after the transplant, 6 weeks of extended care to learn how to adjust to life as a transplant patient. And Tom will require medication for the rest of his life.
Tom, who has given so much to our children - needs help. He is fighting so hard to continue living, stay positive and believe for victory. His family, who love him, live in Ohio and don't have the means to be here to help. So please join me, Pam Hobbs, his best friend, and the rest of his "Family of Believers" in this fight -with prayers, positive believing and funding for his medical care and bills.
