On May 13, 2019, Tom's left leg was amputated from the knee down, due to complications of diabetes. Followed by an 11 day stay in ICU. He recently took a new position at his job and was still on the probationary period when this emergency surgery occurred, leaving him without any medical insurance and now without income to make ends meet as he heals. He has a long road ahead of him to recovery, but the doctors are optimistic about his progress already. If you've ever met him, you know he has never met a stranger and has a HUGE heart. He will be in a wheelchair until he heals enough to get his new leg. Prayers are welcomed and if you can help financially, every little bit counts.
