Toeny: sight for sore eyes
Tax deductible
Toeny has battled so much during his month at MHAA. He arrived with a severe URI that required nebulizer treatments and multi medications. He stopped eating and had abdominal discomfort that warranted x-rays, fluids and more medications. Toeny is FeLV positive and has serious eye ulcerations that have not responded to any medications or treatments. Three vets and an opthamoligst have diagnosed Entropion, a condition in which the eyelids turn inward so that the eyelashes rub against the eye surface. Entropion develops from a severe herpetic infection of the eye and can cause permanent damage. Toeny’s ulcers are painful and can lead to sight loss if not taken care of. Surgical correction is his only hope for a pain free restoration of his sight. Toeny is an amazingly sweet 2 year old boy who is affectionate despite his health issues. Please donate and share to help this baby be pain free and healthy.
