Karen Welsh  was diagnosed with melanoma cancer a year ago last February it’s the  worst news anyone could ever receive. First thing she done in St Johns was went into the church and said a prayer. 

She then went for her check up and the cancer had spread, very fast, to her brain and in the meantime she was constantly taken seizures and was taken into hospital. 

We were told she would not make it and seeing her you wouldn’t think she would but she was so strong and woke up.  During this time her little boy was on holiday and she kept asking for him and to see him she did get worse as the days went on. She had her little boys picture in her hand she was constantly looking at kissing and crying she was thinking the worst that she wasn’t going to see him again. We all said our prayers and he made it there beside her and they were together in the end.

Karen is leaving behind her two beautiful daughters Callie & Cerys and her handsome son Jamie. Karen was extremely loved and cherished by everyone that knew her, unfortunately after being diagnosed with this horrible disease Karen was unable to obtain life insurance, we are asking all friends and people who knew Karen if we can all come together the help the family at this devastating time.
