For the Love of Ethiopia

I will make my 2nd annual trip in June of 2019, bringing respiratory supplies and instructions in respiratory therapy to the Ethiopian people. My wife and I adopted three Ethiopian children and their country has tugged at our hearts ever since. I will teach their medical personnel so that they may apply the learning and improve care in their hospitals.  Last year I took three additional ventilators to a hospital in Soddo that only had one, so they no longer had to make decisions as to which patient's life was more precious.  In Awassa, although they had nine ventilators, they didn't know how to use five of them. I was able to instruct them so they could utilize all their resources. I will use the funds to purchase and transport supplies and equipment.Ethiopia currently has no respiratory therapists in their health care system but they have an incredible thirst for knowledge and appreciation for the gift of it.  Ethiopia, as a country, has improved in so many ways since our first trip in 2005. With your help, we can ensure that these people advance their skills and gain the knowledge to care for their own. “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
