Help Sandy Ramsey

Donation protected

Sandy Ramsey is a former co-worker at FEMA who is now living in Kathmandu, Nepal for the past year.

Sandy has a non-profit organization, Crisis Recovery International that is funding assistance to the native Nepalese survivors there, but none of those funds are used by Sandy for her personal well being.  Those funds are specifically earmarked for her private, non-profit organization.

Sandy continues to receive frequent requests from her new friends and neighbors there for monetary assistance; as formal relief is slow in reaching the villages nearest the epicenter of the quake.   She, of course, complies with those requests with the funds made available with this GoFundMe account, because in some villages, humanitarian relief is still non-existant.

As is her nature, Sandy is trying desperately to be as helpful as possible to those with NO means to assist themselves, while also trying to survive on what funding she has for her own personal use.

This earthquake has taken its toll in more than lives lost.  At this point over 8,583 deaths have been reported, and there are also approximately 3,000 reported as missing since the first event.  Another 7.2 initial quake hit the same area again on 5/12/15, making recovery even harder for these people.

Please, won't you donate to this worthy cause, to help Sandy continue to assist others as well as to get by herself?  Money donated to this fund will go to purchase personal items needed by Sandy, as well as funds to be shared with her neighbors who have so little left.  All funds go directly to Sandy, and can only be withdrawn by her.   Your donation will probably NOT be tax deductible, as would be a donation to her private non-profit organization, Crisis Recovery International.

I have asked Sandy to post pictures and updates as the campaign proceeds, so that you have an idea of just how much you're actually helping.  Any amount is appreciated, and no amount is too small.  It is my understanding that one U.S. dollar will buy two meals in Nepal for those affected by this quake.

We've all seen how disasters change lives... won't you please help to change some lives for the better?  Thank you so much.
