My name is Gili. I am a plant-based trained chef and cooking coach. I have been wanting to share my knowledge and love of food with the world and been looking for a platform to do that. I recently came across a bagel shop that has opened up for rent and I took a chance, called up the owner and went to look at the place. I immediately knew that it can be a great opportunity for me to introduce new vegan foods and healthy, allergy-friendly foods & desserts to my community here in Lancaster.
I am now in the process of planning and opening my very own first vegan restaurant here in Lancaster but I need your help. I am starting with a small business loan and relatively low budget for a brand new restaurant and the equipment purchase, fees and bills are adding up. I am going to put everything I have into this place because it is my dream and passion. I am aware that it's going to cost me "blood, sweat and tears" but I'm up for the challenge! my goal is to be able to hire more help eventually and create jobs in our community but I'm starting small.
With that being said, I can use your support and am grateful for your kindness. If you are as passionate as I am about introducing healthy and cruelty free food options to our fast growing area, every small donation counts and I promise to make you proud. I have a vision, a plan and so much room for growth in the future but I have to start here and now to secure this opportunity. Your donations will help me with working capital, hiring employees and and running cost.
I will continue to post updates and development and photos here as I continue through this journey to keep you in the loop and show you where your donations are going. There are many people in our area who are not only vegan or vegetarian, but who also may be suffering from gluten and dairy allergies and can benefit from having more food options catering to those needs.
