Send Team Titanium to China

Team Titanim 1986, a FIRST Robotics Competition team from Lee's Summit West High School, has been invited to attend the 2017 China Robotics Challange in Zhengzhou, China on July 26-29, 2017. This is an amazing honor extended to only a few teams worldwide, and an opportunity of a lifetime for these students.
They will help newly-formed Chinese teams design and build their robots and prepare for competition, then participate in the four-day tournament with their own robot.
Because the number of team members who can attend is restricted, students with the most experience that can best help the host teams have been invited to attend.
Costs to get the robot, equipment and the team to China are very high. Passports, visas, airfares, shipping, hotels, meals, etc. add up to a hefty total. While the team works very hard year-round to raise money for their regular competition season, extra funds need to be raised for this trip in a limited timeframe.
