Tiny Home For Tammy
She lost her husband, my Stepfather Tom, to cancer in '01, over a decade ago, and her Aunt Sonja, who was more of a mother to her, lost her battle in '09. Both extremely hard times. Through those hard times she has learned not to take the time here for granted. To try and live everyday like it's your last. We all know that life gets in the way of those lessons, and with good times there are bad.
After a year of feeling miserable, going to doctor after doctor, being misdiagnosed, she started to feel helpless. After a simple pelvic x-ray, she was diagnosed with Stage Four Kidney Cancer. In April her left kidney was removed. After a painful recovery she is now undergoing chemotherapy, and will be for the rest of her life. She always has had a very strong work ethic. Due to her condition, there are days when working is hard, and days when working is impossible. With bills and a mortgage she is extremely overwhelmed, and mostly exhausted. She has no choice but to sell her home to help pay for medical bills.
She has dreamt of moving back to the country and living a more laid back life in a tiny home. Something all her friends and family want for her. A place where she can reflect, focus on, and do the things in her life that she loves to do.
As her daughter, I want to help her as much as I can, but I am limited on what I can do financially. What my husband and I do have is land with a perfect spot for a tiny home. A home where she can live the rest of her life in the country. Here she can do everything she loves about country life; spend time with friends and family, garden, star gaze, raise chickens. Be inspired to write and create. But most importantly live a stress free life so she can focus on living the time she has left to the fullest.
There is nothing I would want more for her than to help fulfill her dream. I love her to the moon and back. She gave me life and I want to do everything in my power to provide a life as beautiful as the one she has provided me.
With the funds raised, we want to build her a tiny home close to ours. A mortgage free home, equipped with a tiny kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, and a porch. Please, help me provide this to the most amazing woman I know.
If you are unable to help financially, please send prayers or a positive comment. Thank You.

I will be posting more updates of Mom's house this week! It's looking so amazing! She is undergoing radiation at the moment and has 8 days left. Then we hope to start moving her in!
Thanks to you, we have raised so much money! We still have a few things we need to raise money for. The electricity has been completely installed. He hasn't sent us an invoice yet, but we will owe $1800 for that. We also need to raise money for her appliances. She's getting just basic white ones, apartment size fridge and an electric stove with oven. Please help us spread the word!!!
We've had a few very successful barn raisings! Friends and family have come over on weekends to help. So much got done plus it was a blast! A great chance to fill Mom's house with love and laughter. It feels wonderful!
My husband spent this last weekend trying to wrap up the plumbing and other odd and ends. We're so close!!!!
Lots of Love,
Tammy and I used to work together and I have heard of her struggle through mutual friends. I am so sorry to hear it but so glad I can help in this small way. Tammy is a beautiful person and you wish you all the best.
Please check out what Annette St.Onge said below. I personally know 2 people that have cured cancer using RSO. The cost is so much less than normal procedures with no nasty side effects. Just go to http://www.phoenixtears.ca/ I wish your mother the best and will keep her in my thoughts.
Tammy please Google "Rick Simpson oil" it cures cancer. We just healed my bf's mom of stage 4 inoperable lung cancer
You are a wonderful daughter watching out for your mother, I pray you will reach your goal, and your mother enjoys her new tiny home surrounded by love.
I pray for Tams every day.......God can heal and I won't think otherwise.........
Praying for your mother to get the funding needed and to heal. God bless.
Your Mom is so lucky to have such a loving daughter to help her.
I love checking in daily and seeing the amount go up and up!! I wish I had the money to contribute at this time. All I can do is say, we all love you and are praying for many many more years with you here! Can't wait to see your new place!
